Isimi Bubu | Black & Red

A regal interpretation of the traditional African boubou, the Isimi Bubu combines structured texture, metallic patterning, and dramatic volume in a powerful floor-skimming silhouette.

The Black & Red colorway features a structured black jacquard mesh or organza overlay adorned with an intricate red-and-gold metallic pattern. The upper bodice is decorated with scattered organic droplet-shaped motifs that gradually become denser toward the lower skirt, creating a rich crackled, abstract floral or scale-like texture. The inner lining and wide sleeve interiors feature a deep crimson-red textile that reveals itself beautifully with movement.

The gown features a clean, modest V-neckline and classic ultra-wide kimono sleeves that drape effortlessly from the shoulders. Its oversized, continuous kaftan cut falls smoothly to the ankles, creating a statuesque silhouette while allowing effortless movement.

A matching padded headwrap crafted from the same black-and-red textured jacquard fabric completes the look.
